Church on Rockefeller is an interesting montage. I like the weeds in the foreground, this is ware I got the idea of trying to capture foreground first then allowing the eye to travel up-word to the main focal point of the image. Time to take out the tripod for my experimentation and more accurate shots. I also have a Nikon Dx2 on my wish list for Christmas. Picture taken Fall October 2006.
This is another series of pictures I took during my noon walk, two security guards came out and asked me what I was taking pictures off. I told them I was taking pictures of the trees and side walk, also that I worked as the city webmaster, they did not believe me so I had to show them my ID. I did not know this was the armory. So the moral here is, people are far more paranoid and suspicious today even here in the Northwest after 9-11. Picture taken Fall October 2006.
This is a montage of Legion park I’m still experimenting with the foreground perspective.
Still experimenting with the style I’m trying to develop. I want to create a perspective of looking a the ground first and then up into the distance with this montage of images. I think I’m getting closer ever time the Painting turned out OK. Picture taken September 2006.
This series of images and photo montage was taken on the corner of Wetmore and 26th Street in Everett WA. Using my Casio 5 Mega Pixel camera on a fall day at around 12:30 PM in October 2006. The shots were taken at infinity setting in snap shot mode except for the center leaves shot closest to me it was shot in macro mode. I later turned this Montage into a watercolor painting. I like my little Casio because its small and the aluminum casing protects the cameras very nicely. I edited the images in Photoshop CS2 to get the perspective angles.
